Maths in Action

In Room 8 we have been working on place value in maths. The groups work on a variety of different tasks at the same time. There were kids working on a place value application on the ipads, problem solving, maths games and some were on the Digistore from the NZ Maths site.

Poetry of a Memorable Moment in our Holidays

The children of Room 8 wrote poems about a moment they enjoyed during their holiday.  They could choose between writing five senses or form poems.  Here are the amazing results!

The wonderful children in Room 8 made A3 posters about themselves.  This was a good way for Mr Scott to get to know more about the class members.
