Pack the Bus

We Packed the Bus today with food items and presents for people that are not as well off as us this Christmas.  It was great seeing the senior children really get into the carols, sing, dancing and moving around in long chain.  Great fun!

Zippity Zoo

Today we had Zippity Zoo visit us.  We got to touch the animals and learn many facts about them.  Thanks to the FONS for organising this for us.

Road Patrollers Party

The Road Patrollers had a great time at McKenzie Pool on Monday.  Was a bit cold but the children managed to have some fun and got a couple of free sausages, a drink and ice block.  Thanks Constable Blue and the NZ Police.

Bush Builders Action Day

On the Tuesday of Week 10, we had our 'Action Day' as a finale to our Bush Builders unit.  The children were all in groups and had designed a bird feeder to go behind Rooms 7 & 8.  We hope to encourage more native birds into our school.  It was great to have Kim from the Wellington Zoo come and visit us again and to see what we have been doing.  Here are shots of the action and some of the finished products.
